Supply and Demand
Supply and Demand is How Prices of Things Are Determined
What is Supply And Demand
Supply is The Amount of the Product and The Demand is How Many People Want that Item
If There is A High Demand It is Going to Be Higher Than it Normally Should
if There is a Low Demand Than Prices will Not Be That high
So we have supply, which is how much of something you have, and demand, which is how much of something people want. Put the two together, and you have supply and demand.
Now, how do you show the relationship between the two? One way is to use the price of something. Generally speaking, the price of something will go up if the demand goes up. Why? Because the seller thinks he or she can get more money for whatever he or she is selling.
If more people want something, they will be willing to pay more for it. A good example is the newest basketball shoes. Everybody wants them, and they will be willing to pay more than they normally would to get them. The demand goes up. Why? Because more people want them. The price also goes up. Why? Because the seller knows he or she can get more money for the product because it is in demand.
In the same way, the price will go down when the demand goes down. When the new style of basketball shoes comes out, everyone wants the new shoes. The old shoes don't seem so new anymore. The seller still wants to sell those older shoes, since he or she has a lot still in stock. So, the price goes down. Why? The seller hopes that people will be willing to buy the older shoes at a lower price. After all, the older shoes aren't that much older or worse than the brand new shoes.
What does all this mean? It means that you can track supply and demand by also tracking price. If something has a high price, you can usually conclude that the demand for that item is low. (This is not always the case; it is usually the case.) In the same way, if something has a low price, you can usually conclude that the demand for that item is high.
Why? First of all, a seller has already paid money for what he is trying to sell. A bookseller has paid $4 for each paperback book he has on his shelves. He has bought 1,000 books and paid $4,000. He is selling those same books for $5 each. He hopes to sell all of them at $5 each and get a total of $5,000.
But what if the demand is low and no one wants to buy them? The seller wants to make some of his money back, so he might lower the price. He is already out the $4,000. He can't change that. But he can change how money he is bringing in. If he lowers the price of the books to $4 each, he breaks even on each book but still takes in some of the money he had spent to buy the books in the first place. And this bookseller would have had to lower the price of the books because the demand was low.
The reverse can also be true. If the bookseller decides that he wants to get as much money as he can back, then he might raise the price of the books to $6 each, figuring that he will sell fewer books overall but will get more money for each book he sells.
What does it all mean? Supply and Demand are two very strong market concepts. Studying the two of them can give you a good idea of what people like to buy and sell. And you can track both supply and demand by comparing the price of an item over time.
To study Supply and Demand is to understand economics at its most basic.
Now you Know Why Things Today Cost a Lot of Money
Pick up Sticks
Pick Up Sticks is a great yet simple game that helps kids learn to count when scoring and improves their manual dexterity. A typical Pick Up Sticks set contains 50 multi-colored sticks made of wood, plastic or metal. All the sticks either have a number of rings around the center, which indicates the point value or they are color coded. It is a simple game to play with children of any age. Grandparents will especially love teaching their grandchildren how to play this fun game.
What you Will Need
Pick up Sticks
How to Play
Clear the area of play of any obstructions. A flat surface such as a table or floor needs to be used.
Drop all the sticks onto the floor or table. Let the lie where they landed. Do not rearrange any of the sticks.
Extract a stick from the pile without moving any other stick. Take turns trying to remove the sticks carefully. If you succeed, it remains your turn.
Forfeit your turn if a stick moves. It does not matter how slightly the stick moves.
Remove the stick that has been first touched. No other stick can be removed until that specific one has been safely removed.
Finish the game by picking up all the sticks from the pile without disturbing the others.
Score the game by adding the point value of the sticks as determined by the number of bands or colors indicated on each stick.
Vary the game by adding a solid colored or black stick which can then be used to assist in moving or picking up the dropped sticks without penalty.
Point Values
1 Black 25 points
7 Red 10 points
7 Blue 5 points
8 Green 2 points
7 Yellow 1-points
Tips and Warnings
Create a fun camping game by making your own set of Pick Up Sticks. Gather several twigs of equal size and cut small notches in each stick. Typically there are ten of each number. You can also use colored toothpicks in lieu of real Pick Up Sticks.
Unnerve your competitor by "accidentally" sneezing, coughing or humming during his turn at picking up the stick.
Pick Up Sticks can still be found in many toy stores but often under "new" names such as Jackstraws, Jerkstraws or Pik Up Stix.
Disabilitys
Disabilities There are Some people That Have them There are Many Different Kinds of Disabilites and im Going to Tell you About them
But First
What is a Disability ?
A disability, under Federal disability discrimination law, is a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of a person's major life activities (for example, caring for one's self, speaking, breathing, or learning). A disability need not be obvious; such conditions as learning disabilities, psychological illnesses, asthma, or infection with HIV (the virus that causes AIDS) may qualify as disabilities under the law.
Are There many Different Disabilites
Yes
Learning Disability is a classification including several disorders in which a person has difficulty learning in a typical manner, usually caused by an unknown factor or factors. The unknown factor is the disorder that affects the brain's ability to receive and process information. This disorder can make it problematic for a person to learn as quickly or in the same way as someone who is not affected by a learning disability. People with a learning disability have trouble performing specific types of skills or completing tasks if left to figure things out by themselves or if taught in conventional ways.i have a Learning Disability my Self
Dyslexia Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that is neurological in origin.
It is characterized by difficulties with accurate and/or fluent word recognition, and by poor spelling and decoding abilities.
These difficulties typically result from a deficit in the phonological component of language that is often unexpected in relation to other cognitive abilities and the provision of effective classroom instruction.
Secondary consequences may include problems in reading comprehension and reduced reading experience that can impede growth of vocabulary and background knowledge.
Speach Disability Its When you have a Disorder So Like When you Stutter that is a disability
Are There Treatments For Some Disability's
Yes For Some of them there may Be For Others There May not Be
Deaf And Hearing loss Close to 1 million Americans are functionally deaf, while 10 million are hearing impaired or hard of hearing. Causes of deafness include secondary effects of disease or illness, injury, long-term exposure to environmental noise, damaging reactions to medications, and genetic factors, among others. With the assistance of hearing aids and other assistive technology, however, being deaf may have minimal impact on your ability to live a fully independent life.
Blind and Visual According to the National Federation of the Blind, it's estimated that about 1.3 million people in the U.S. are legally blind, and 75,000 more become blind or develop visual impairment each year. With the assistance of Braille, other blindness or low-vision aids, and adaptive sports opportunities, however, blindness need not signal the end of career opportunities, participation in sports, or an independent life
Amputations An amputation is the removal of a limb - such as an arm or a leg - surgically or due to trauma (such as a car accident, industrial accident, or war injury). Other conditions, such as diabetes, can also lead to amputations, for example, leg amputation. Life after an amputation, however, is about more than adjusting to sensations such as phantom limb loss and going through physical rehabilitation. Read about making good prosthesis choices, dealing with pain, skin management, and a broad range of adaptive fitness options, as well.
Musuclar Dystrophy Muscular dystrophy is the generic name of a group of nine diseases that weaken muscles. Of these, Duchenne muscular dystrophy and Becker muscular dystrophy are perhaps the best-known. The impacts of this disease often show up in multiple areas of the body's systems, such as the heart, the nervous system, and the eyes, among others
incontinence Urinary incontinence (stress incontinence and urge incontinence) is especially common for women who have given birth, while urinary and fecal incontinence can be a side effect of prostate cancer treatment. Fortunately, there are a number of effective ways to deal with this condition, including behavioral changes, medications, exercises, and physical therapies.
Do We Have Control over Disabilitys
No We Do Not Have any Control over them at all
Can you Be Born With it and Have it For the rest of your life
yes you Can
What I Mentioned Above Was only Some Disabilitys There are a lot more but there is to much to list in one post

PDA
PDA
What is a PDA
PDA Is PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants) are handheld computers that originally were designed as personal organizers, and they do this really well. The basic features of any PDA are a date book, address book, task list , and memo pad. While these features are very helpful at keeping someone organized, the feature that clinched their utility for any busy person who uses a desktop computer is that of easy synchronization of information with the desktop. For example, I can easily work on my desktop, make a new appointment and cut some directions out of an e-mail someone sent me and paste it into a memo using my PDA's desktop software. The next time I put the PDA in the cradle and synchronize, that new information ends up on my PDA.
Are PDAS Better than Computers
No They Are Not
What are PDA Used For
They can be used for many things.
You can use them to make Microsoft compatible documents and spreadsheets, play music, play games, use timers and stopwatches, make a calender and much more. Remember, to do many of these functions you need to install apps (prc). Many PDA apps are free.
Whats The Difference Between a PDA And a Cell Phone
A PDA Is Not A Cell Phone Its a Portable Computer That you Can Take With you on the Go But you Cant Make Phone Calls With a PDA
What Kind Should i Buy
Budget-Minded Consumers
If you're looking for a PDA on a budget, there are several models you can consider. However, since standalone PDAs are becoming harder to find, some of these models may be difficult to obtain. The palmOne Zire 31, Sony Clie PEG-SL10 PDA and the palmOne Palm PDA m505 are good options if you want a PDA that can do basic functions like keeping addresses, emails and phone numbers. The Zire 31 and the m505 also have a color display and an MP3 player. The Sony Clie can view Microsoft Word files, however it does not have a color display.
PDAs for Business Needs
When PDAs were first released, the majority of users were those in business. PDAs that are geared toward business have faster processing speeds, better graphic interfaces, more memory and a slew of options. The HP iPAQ hx2795 Pocket PC and Dell Axim X50v PDA are good devices for business needs. They offer Windows compatibility, an Internet browser, color display and Bluetooth connectivity.
How Old can PDAs Last
PDAS Can last up to a Few Years Or More They Generally last about the Same Amount as a Computer Would
How Much Do PDA Cost
it Depends on The Company that your buying it from All Company's Charge Differently But i Wouldn't Go For the Cheapest one because if you do you will not get a good one there is a saying you get what you buy if you buy a cheap one you are probably not gonna get good service
What Features Should i Be Looking for in a PDA
Method for data entry: One of the fundamental considerations when purchasing a PDA. Consider how and how frequently you use PDA, and whether you need to enter data quickly or just easily. If you decide to go with a touch screen (offered on most PDAs, such as Palm), you should probably be willing to learn a modified alphabet, or be prepared to purchase handwriting recognition software or an attachable keyboard that will help.
Web/Email readiness: If you plan on surfing the web or sending or checking email from your PDA, you'll need to find one with an internal or external add-on modem, as well as communication software.
Power/Batteries: If you'll be using it a lot, look for one with rechargeable batteries—most have them. An AC adapter is a nice touch, although not all come with them or even accept them. Know your battery life, because dead batteries can mean lost data. Note: larger, more full featured PDA's eat up batteries faster.
Operating System: To Palm or not to Palm, that is the question. Palm once dominated the handheld market, and buying a Palm or Palm OS device ensured a multitude of software and accessories options. The good news: competing systems, such as Microsoft 's Pocket PC, have just about completely caught up.
Memory: If you're buying a more full featured PDA, compare memory amounts included. The more complex PDA applications require more memory to maintain good performance.
All Those Are What you Should Be Looking For
How Long Do Batterys On the PDAS Last
Battery life varies greatly, depending on the individual unit and the frequency and type of usage. Most PDAs use rechargeable batteries, and lithium-ion rechargeables tend to last longest. Many PDAs also come with an AC adapter to conserve and sometime recharge batteries during use. Some PDAs only use regular AA or AAA batteries, so keep that in mind if you plan to use your device a lot and want to keep it economical. Whether you're cost-conscience or not, it's important to know your PDAs battery life, because dead batteries can cause a complete loss of information.
Can i Use the Internet on my PDA
Yes, most handhelds have the ability to do this if three necessary components are present: a modem, an ISP (Internet service provider), and proper software. Your handheld may come with an internal modem, or you may need to buy an external one. If you have all the necessary components, read any instructions in your PDA's user guide and then contact your ISP, because setting up a PDA Internet account can be a little more tricky than a regular one.
Which is Better Touch Screen or one with a key board
The way you enter data is one of the fundamental considerations when purchasing a PDA, and there are pros and cons to each method. Consider how and how frequently you use PDA, and whether you need to enter data quickly or just easily. If you decide to go with a touch screen (offered on most PDAs, such as Palm), you need to be willing to learn a modified alphabet, or be prepared to purchase handwriting recognition software that might help, but also might eat up a lot of your PDA's memory. Once you get the hang of using a stylus you'll probably find it fast and easy, but if you end up relying on the on-screen keyboard, then expect to move slowly. If you decide a real keyboard is more for you, you'll end up looking at bigger models that won't fit into your shirt pocket. If that's okay and you really feel more comfortable with a keyboard, then you'll probably end up with a system that offers even more power and expandability.
Generally i would Recommend The Touch Screen But thats my own opinion get what makes you comfortable

Blizzard
Blizzards are a Type of Snow only it Comes at a Intense Rate And Usually Comes With Strong Winds And I am Going to Tell you About Blizzards
What is a Blizzard
There are two somewhat different meanings for the word "blizzard". "Blizzard conditions" technically occur when strong winds (at least 35 mph) combine with either falling snow or snow on the ground to reduce visibilities to 1/4 mile or less for at least three hours. According to this definition, blizzard conditions can occur without any falling snow -- it is just severe blowing snow
The other common meaning of "blizzard" is a strong winter cyclone event producing large snowfall accumulations, usually combined with strong winds causing blowing and drifting of snow
Safety Precautions
1. Prepare for power outages and blocked roads. Winds, ice and snow tend to bring down power lines. Make sure that you have candles, matches or lighters, a battery operated radio, and emergency food supplies and tons of blankets. Think about where you'll put candles to keep them lit and safe. Have plenty of food staples like powdered milk and protein bars. If your water supply depends on an electric pump, bottled water may be a good idea.
2. Staying warm when the power goes out may be a problem. Don't think you're immune if you don't use electricity to heat your home. Many people don't realize that their heating system depends on a boiler that is powered by electricity. Electric stoves and gas stoves that depend on electricity will be powerless if the storm knocks the lines down. Be prepared with alternative heat sources and plenty of blankets.
3. Traveling in a blizzard is just not a good idea. If you are on the road during a blizzard look for a hotel or motel nearby and stay off the road until driving conditions are safe again.
4. If you get stranded in your car during a bad snow storm be prepared with plenty of warm clothes and packaged snack foods. It may seem sensible to leave the engine running to keep warm, but it isn't. The danger of carbon monoxide poisoning is high. Snow can block your exhaust pipe and fill the car with deadly fumes. Keeping one window open just a bit will help avoid this. If you keep the engine running you may run out of gas before the storm is over. A better idea is to run the engine in short bursts. Turn the engine on long to keep the car warm and then turn it off. Keep this routine up until the conditions are stable enough for you to get back on the road.
5. Designate a spot, in the hall closet, to keep a bag of warm clothes for each person in the household. If the lights are out, it will be hard to find that really warm turtle neck or a pair of warm socks or gloves...in the dark. Count on the power being out for at least a day or two and have some board games and a deck of cards on hand. Arts and crafts are always fun for the kids (especially if there isn't any television to distract them) so make sure you have some of those supplies easily available.
6. Along with warm clothes and blankets, consider stocking your Blizzard Kit with the following: batteries, flash lights, battery operated radio/television, bottled water, toilet paper, nonperishable foods such as cereal or crackers, canned goods, a non electric can opener, a small cooler, candles, prescription medicines and any over-the-counter remedies you use regularly; and if you have young infants or toddlers - diapers, baby wipes, formula, baby food.
7. Stock up on shovels and snow removal equipment before the snow storm. You may also want to cover the windows and spaces around the doors to keep drafts at a minimum in the event the heat shuts off.
8. If you live in an area that gets bad storms regularly consider investing in an emergency generator. Having an alternate source of power if the main lines go down can be a life saver.
9. A cellular phone is a 'hot' commodity for the snowbound. If you have a cell phone, make sure it is charged and easy to find. Even if the phone and power lines go out you can get word out that you are stranded and need help
10. Finally, STAY INSIDE. However tempting it may be for kids to go out and make snow angels or play in the falling snow, use caution. Those blowing winds - both before and after a blizzard - are cold enough to cause frostbite, and snowdrifts may hide dangers children might otherwise see. Stay indoors where it's safe, and warm!
i Would Also Recommend Getting Food Items That you Dont Have to be Prepared For And Plenty of Water As Well
Building your Own Computer
Building your Own Computer Can Be Fun Some People Dont Trust What they see and they instead end up building one and im going to tell you about building computers
First It Would Be More Eaiser To Purchase a Preassembled Computer but thats my own opinion
Now The first thing you need to Do is Purchase the Supplys That you need For the Computer the Motherboard Power Supply Ram Graphics Cards and What Ever else you need to build the computer that you want
Once you have the supplys
Than Read The Motherboards Instructions and see how it wants you to build it
Put The Parts in one by one
When your Done
Plug the computer in and Test it out if it goes on and works correctly than you know you done a good job if it doesint turn on or doesint load correctly than you did something wrong
than open the computer up and take a look at your parts
Note When your working on the motherboard make sure the power is off if you Do Not Turn the computer off you could end up getting shocked as well as your motherboard mite get damaged which would not be a good thing you could hurt your self and the computer as well
Advantages and Disadvantages to Building a Computer
Pros
What are the benefits of building your own computer?
Cost and customization. When you build your own computer it is often cheaper and you can customize the components to whatever fits your needs. If it is important to you to have a boosted up gaming system, you can build your computer with added RAM, deluxe sound card, and faster CPU. If you think floppy drives are part of the dark ages, leave it out. As you use your computer, if at any time you feel something is missing, it is easier to take you computer apart and upgrade your system. There are also many neat and interesting accessories you can add when building your own computer such as adding a Plexiglas side and installing some lights in it so you can see the guts to your computer light up. In any case you can just install some fun games to keep you occupied.
Knowledge and satisfaction. When you build your computer you get to see how everything works together. If you are the kind of person that enjoys taking stuff apart and learning how everything works, than this project is right up your alley. When you show off your new computer to all of your friends, you can say "I built that" with pride.
Cons
But before you go out and invest a lot of money into parts and software for your computer you should know about the disadvantages of building your own computer.
Lack of knowledge could be the down fall to your whole project. It's important that you pick parts that will connect and fit into the case you have selected. For first time computer builders, such as us, you can purchase a kit that includes parts or a parts list of items that will work well together. If you don't know what you are doing you may not get it all connected in the right way. One of the biggest factors is frying your motherboard. If you're not careful one shock can ruin your new computer and you would not even know it.
Viruses and incompatibility can cause issues in performance. It could be very pricey if you don't what you're doing and buy the wrong software since some software costs in excess of $200. Prebuilt computers often come with preinstalled software and virus protection. After building your own computer, you may need to download or purchase the correct drivers or virus protection to keep your computer running smoothly.
electricity will ruin your motherboard. And you will not know this until you are finished.
Here is a Picture of What a Motherboard Should look like
