How Do i Report a Bug To Myspace
To report a bug, here's what you do:
- review the current issues on the Help home page (look at It's Not You, It's Us: Current Bugs), to see if we are already working on resolving the problem
- then check out the current issues page, which includes a more detailed list of current and resolved site bugs
- if you don't see your issue listed, click Contact Myspace (on the right)
- click on the drop-down menu (labeled Choose topic) and select Report site bug
- click on the second drop-down menu (labeled Choose sub-topic) and select the area where you experienced the bug (for example, Profile, Music, Video, Photos, etc.)
- We love details and pix! Let us know exactly what you found and feel free to attach a screen shot or two
How do I control my privacy on Myspace?
Myspace takes privacy seriously. We’ve simplified our privacy settings to make managing your privacy settings on Myspace even easier.
To change your privacy settings, here's what you do:
- hover over My Stuff (in the upper nav) and click Privacy Settings (on the left)
- select Everyone, Only my friends and anyone over 18 (if you are over 18), Only my friends and anyone under 18 (if you are under 18), or My friends only for your profile privacy settings
- decide whether you want to
- enable or disable My Visitors
- show your profile photo and display name in content recommendations
- show when you're online
- if you want to show your birthday to your friends
- if you want to block users under or over 18 (depending on your age)
- if you want to block all apps and third-party services from accessing your profile if you haven't connected with them
- click Save Changes and you are done!
You can also control privacy settings for your photos by setting privacy settings for each album, but your photo privacy settings can’t be less restrictive than your overall privacy setting. Your profile photo will always be visible, though.
Can I set up my account to let me upload photos from my mobile device?
Absolutely! Your friends want to know what's going on in your life, but some of them have the attention span of kids jacked up on Halloween candy. Uploading pix from your mobile to your Myspace profile makes photo sharing a snap.
To create a Myspace mobile address for uploading photos, here's what you do:
- log into Myspace Mobile
- click Settings at the bottom of your home page
- click Photo Uploads on the Settings page
- enter 6 to 10 characters with at least one letter and one number in the box and click Submit
- send picture messages (MMS) or emails to this address, and attached photos will be automatically uploaded to your Mobile Photos folder
- tip: save this address in your phone's Contacts for easier access!
- some phones allow you to upload photos to Myspace directly from the photo album or from a Myspace application: check with your mobile service carrier to see if it's supported
How do I get Myspace to delete an imposter profile?
o report an imposter profile, here's what you do:
- click Contact Myspace (on the right side of Help)
- attach a salute so we know that you are who you say you are
- include the URL (the http//: address you see in the Web browser bar) of the imposter profile
If you don't have a Myspace profile, here's what you do:
- click Contact Myspace (on the right side of Myspace Help)
- attach a salute so we know that you are who you say you are
- on the salute, hand-write your contact email address and "I do not have a Myspace profile"
- include the URL (the http//: address you see in the Web browser bar bar) of the imposter profile
