I Decided to Do a Separate Post For Just For Facebook Timeline i thought it Mite be a Little Easier For People
What is Timeline
It is a New Kind Of Profile That Facebook has Released its a Profile thats a whole lot different than the old one like you can add a cover Posts Are Spread apart and the friends and photos that used to be tabs are now turned into boxes
How Do i Get it
you Can Get it By going here http://www.facebook.com/timeline Click on get the timeline if the button is not there sometimes you can also get it by going to someones profile that has it and click on get the timeline if its not on either or profile than you have to wait til you are forced into it
Is It Going to Become a Mandatory Update
Yes it Will For Now its Optional But Facebook is Working on forcing people into it It Started on Friday March 30,2012 And From there on they are working on switching everybody in no specific date as to when it will be finished
Would you Recommend Switching into it before im forced
yes Because it will be easier to transition into it if you wait til your forced its going to be a lot harder
Can i Go Back to the Old Profile Once i have Switched into Timeline
No you Can Not Once your in your Stuck In timeline Mode For Good Pretty soon the Old Profile will be Gone
How Do i add a Cover to my Profile
On the top of your Profile Click on Add a Cover than Select if you want to choose a photo from your profile thats already there or browse your hard drive for a photo that you want to add as a cover once you have selected it your good
Can i Make my Cover Photo Private
No you Can Not Cover Photos By Default are Public
Has my Privacy Settings Changed
No your Privacy Settings Are Still the Same as the Old Profile
Can i Hide Wall Posts on the New Profile
Yes you can Click on the pencil than click on hide post and you can hide your posts
How Do i Undo a Post i Have hidden
it gives you the option when you hide it right away to undo after that you have to click on activity log and from there you can unhide posts
What are the Months and years that i see to the Right Side
With the New Profile you Can Go To Specific Posts from a Specific Time Range So you can View Posts From a Past Month or you Can Go Back Further To Years and see posts from that Range
The People That Show in the box on the top Profile Are They the People Who view my Profile the Most
No it is Not Its Still the Same As the Old Profile its Who you Interact With the most
Maps
on The new Profile you Can Show The Places that you been to with tha maps feature you can add a city and state that you been to or places that you been to like a store or a company ETC To Do That Go to the maps Box Than Click on Where it Says Where have you been and type in your location
Where is my Friend List
it is Now on the Top of the Profile in a box that says Friends
Where is my Photo Album
Same thing on the top you should see a box that says photos
it Only Shows 4 Boxes on the top how do i see the rest of my items click on the last box and it will drop down more and show you more things like notes likes and all your other tabs which are now turned into boxes

on The New Profile is there a Easy Way to Quickly Choose who can see a certain post
Yes there is on the status box on the bottom of the status box there will be the current setting click on it and you can change the setting just like you can do under privacy settings
Can i Still Add Badges to my Website
yes you can they moved that to a different place on your Profile Click on the circle and you should be able to see that option
On the New Profile is There a Way to See Who i Recently Added
yes there is when you accept someone as a friend or if you request someone as a friend and if they accept you a box will be posted on your profile with the month and all your friend requests from that month will be under there
is there a Way i Can See all the Pages i like by month
yes when you like a page same thing will happen with Friends added and Friend Request a Month box will drop down on your profile and show all your likes that you have liked that particular month
Does the Friend Requests Box And Likes Box Effect my privacy Settings
No it Does not if you choose to have your friends and Likes Hidden it will not show up when other people look on your profile
When i Get Blocked From Sending Friend Requests How Can i Tell How Long i have Left until they unblock it
Facebook Has Now Decided to Tell you how long you have left until you get unblocked to find out how long you have left until you get unblocked add somebody as a friend and the blocked message on the bottom will tell you how long you have left until you get unblocked
Overall its Better than the Old Profile so Play around with it Use this Post To Help you Understand It And Soon you will get the hang of it
