Update Launch: Private Groups, Invite Friends, User Block, etc

Private Groups

This is one of the most requested features, and we finally nailed it. It enables the creation of Private Groups, invisible to others. Users can be invited to new groups by admins only or by other group members;


Private Forum
This is pretty straightforward - it enables the creation of Private Forums for specific User Roles, and said Private Forums are not visible to other users;


Block Users
This new feature enables users to block each other if need arises. Blocked users cannot send IM/PM, add comments to the original user’s content, as well as become Friends and Follow the original user’s updates. In addition, blocking will immediately sever all Friendship and Follow links between two users;


Major Improvements

Revamped Invite Friends Feature
This is another frequently requested feature, and we have completely reworked it to be compatible with new Facebook and Google APIs. Also, Friends Invite now fully supports Import of Contacts from Facebook and Google;


Mass Mailing
Here we have added a new option to select members for mass mailing in accordance with User Roles;

WYSISYG Editor
WYSIWYG Editor was removed from showing up on mobile devices;

Instant Chat Improvements
All of the reported issues were fixed, and several improvements introduced. We are relaunching Instant Chat on Xitti;

Unsubscribe
For your convenience we have added an additional step to confirm unsubscription;

Maintenance Page
A login link for the Maintenance Page was added to simplify the Admin access, in case the page needs to be disabled;

Verification Mail
We’ve streamlined the verification process and the system no longer sends two emails at once. Instead it sends one Verification Letter first, and, upon receiving confirmation, proceeds to send a Welcome Letter;

Google Chrome Attachments
The issue with incorrectly displaying full-size attached pictures in Google Chrome was fixed;

Events Improved
Events End Date has been completely reworked to appear after check-box is ticked, in addition to some minor bug fixes;

Mass Mailing Variables
We’ve added the option to add Variables to the Subject;

User Profile and Dashboard Pages
Some minor improvements for these pages management through the Admin Area have been added;

Privacy Improvements
The Private Album bug was fixed;
