Adding Videos on the New Myspace

On The New Myspace you Can Add Videos To The Site and im Going to Tell you How to
Do That

To Upload A Video onto the New Myspace

Go to Manage than Click on Upload Videos And Select the Files Or Click And Drag
the Videos into The Screen And Than it Will Start Uploading

Video Guidelines

Please Follow These Rules:
1. This is a video I created myself.
2. I understand certain types of content are not permitted on Myspace.
3. I own the music rights to any soundtrack audio for my video.
Technical Guidelines for Pre-Upload Video Preparation Conducted By The User

These instructions are designed to help you prepare your videos for upload to guarantee the highest quality playback.

Video Resolution
SD: 640x480
HD: 1920x1080, 1280x720

Video File Types
.mp4 (h.264)
.mov

Myspace is optimized to play HD video in the h.264 codec (commonly referred to as .MP4.) We recommend that you convert your original file to this codec prior to uploading to Myspace.

Popular video editors (e.g. Apple’s iMovie and Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Elements, Sony Vegas) offer a file output option for a web-optimized version of .mp4. Please refer to your preferred editing software for instructions on preparing your video for export.

Frame Rate
For fluid playback, be sure to convert your video at the same frame rate in which you shot your video:

24fps: Cinema
25 fps: Europe Cinema
30 fps: US video standard

Data Rate
The Data Rate setting is associated with both the visual quality of the video and its size. Compressed video for web-consumption is between 3500kbs (kilobytes per second) and 5000kbs. We suggest you compress at 5000kbs and we’ll take care of the rest during our conversion process.

File Size Limits
We provide a total of 4GB of free storage per user account. For an average video of 200mb, you’ll have the capability to store 20 videos.

Total per file size: 4GB. Large video files are subject to slow uploads, which might fail due to bandwidth issues from your location. Therefore it’s best to either keep your files short, or pre-compress long videos.

Resolution
Standard Definition (SD)
If you’re intent on shooting old-school style, you can upload videos in the 1:33 aspect ratio with a minimal resolution of 640x480. Your video will show in our player with vertical black spaces, called “pillarboxes”.

Custom Poster Frames cropped to a square 1:33 image are automatically resized to fit our HD resolution Poster frame catalog images.

High Definition (HD)
We accept beautiful HD video files in 1280x720 and 1920x1080 resolution. Our default aspect ratio is 16:9, but we can accept 2:33:1 if you’re shooting your masterpiece in wide cinema format. Any sizes outside 16:9 are balanced to this aspect ration with letterboxing.

Please do not add your own letterboxing from your video editor. The compression method can cause artifacts to show, reducing the overall quality of your video.

Audio
For optimal audio results, please use the AAC (Advanced Audio Codec) format.

Audio Data Rate: 320kbps.
Sample Rate: 44.1 KHZ or 48KHZ

Custom Video Poster Frames
Custom video poster frames are required to have a minimal resolution of 1280x720. We can accept 640x480 images, but you’ll have to crop to 16:9 using our handy image cropper.

Instagram is Changing there Privacy Policy Around

Here is a Copy of the New Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 19, 2013

Welcome to Instagram ("Instagram," "we," "us" or "our"). Instagram provides a fast, beautiful and fun way for you to share media through our content-sharing platform. Just snap a photo, choose a filter to transform the look and feel, add comments (if you like) and share!

Our Privacy Policy explains how we and some of the companies we work with collect, use, share and protect information in relation to our mobile services, web site, and any software provided on or in connection with Instagram services (collectively, the "Service"), and your choices about the collection and use of your information.
By using our Service you understand and agree that we are providing a platform for you to post content, including photos, comments and other materials ("User Content"), to the Service and to share User Content publicly. This means that other Users may search for, see, use, or share any of your User Content that you make publicly available through the Service, consistent with the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use (which can be found at http://instagram.com/legal/terms).
Our Policy applies to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service ("Users").

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following types of information.

Information you provide us directly:

Your username, password and e-mail address when you register for an Instagram account.
Profile information that you provide for your user profile (e.g., first and last name, picture, phone number). This information allows us to help you or others be "found" on Instagram.
User Content (e.g., photos, comments, and other materials) that you post to the Service.
Communications between you and Instagram. For example, we may send you Service-related emails (e.g., account verification, changes/updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices). Note that you may not opt out of Service-related e-mails.
Finding your friends on Instagram:

If you choose, you can use our "Find friends" feature to locate other people with Instagram accounts either through (i) your contacts list, (ii) third-party social media sites or (iii) through a search of names and usernames on Instagram.
If you choose to find your friends through (i) your device's contacts list, then Instagram will access your contacts list to determine whether or not someone associated with your contact is using Instagram.
If you choose to find your friends through a (ii) third-party social media site, then you will be prompted to set up a link to the third-party service and you understand that any information that such service may provide to us will be governed by this Privacy Policy.
If you choose to find your friends (iii) through a search of names or usernames on Instagram then simply type a name to search and we will perform a search on our Service.
Note about "Invite Friends" feature: If you choose to invite someone to the Service through our "Invite friends" feature, you may select a person directly from the contacts list on your device and send a text or email from your personal account. You understand and agree that you are responsible for any charges that apply to communications sent from your device, and because this invitation is coming directly from your personal account, Instagram does not have access to or control this communication.
Analytics information:

We use third-party analytics tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your device or our Service, including the web pages you visit, add-ons, and other information that assists us in improving the Service. We collect and use this analytics information with analytics information from other Users so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify any particular individual User.
Cookies and similar technologies:

When you visit the Service, we may use cookies and similar technologies like pixels, web beacons, and local storage to collect information about how you use Instagram and provide features to you.
We may ask advertisers or other partners to serve ads or services to your devices, which may use cookies or similar technologies placed by us or the third party.
More information is available in our About Cookies section
Log file information:

Log file information is automatically reported by your browser each time you make a request to access (i.e., visit) a web page or app. It can also be provided when the content of the webpage or app is downloaded to your browser or device.
When you use our Service, our servers automatically record certain log file information, including your web request, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the Service, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information. We may also collect similar information from emails sent to our Users which then help us track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. The information allows for more accurate reporting and improvement of the Service.
Device identifiers:

When you use a mobile device like a tablet or phone to access our Service, we may access, collect, monitor, store on your device, and/or remotely store one or more "device identifiers." Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored on or associated with your mobile device, which uniquely identify your mobile device. A device identifier may be data stored in connection with the device hardware, data stored in connection with the device's operating system or other software, or data sent to the device by Instagram.
A device identifier may deliver information to us or to a third party partner about how you browse and use the Service and may help us or others provide reports or personalized content and ads. Some features of the Service may not function properly if use or availability of device identifiers is impaired or disabled.
Metadata:

Metadata is usually technical data that is associated with User Content. For example, Metadata can describe how, when and by whom a piece of User Content was collected and how that content is formatted.
Users can add or may have Metadata added to their User Content including a hashtag (e.g., to mark keywords when you post a photo), geotag (e.g., to mark your location to a photo), comments or other data. This makes your User Content more searchable by others and more interactive. If you geotag your photo or tag your photo using other's APIs then, your latitude and longitude will be stored with the photo and searchable (e.g., through a location or map feature) if your photo is made public by you in accordance with your privacy settings.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

provide, improve, test, and monitor the effectiveness of our Service
develop and test new products and features
monitor metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns
diagnose or fix technology problems
automatically update the Instagram application on your device Instagram or other Users may run contests, special offers or other events or activities ("Events") on the Service. If you do not want to participate in an Event, do not use the particular Metadata (i.e. hashtag or geotag) associated with that Event.
3. SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION

We will not rent or sell your information to third parties outside Instagram (or the group of companies of which Instagram is a part) without your consent, except as noted in this Policy.

Our Service Providers will be given access to your information as is reasonably necessary to provide the Service under reasonable confidentiality terms.
We may also share certain information such as cookie data with third-party advertising partners. This information would allow third-party ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you.

Facebook Email Scam Alert

Facebook Email Scam Alerts

Facebook Legal Notice Email Scam

If you received an email from a website that is trying to look like Facebook explaining that they need information from you due to a class action lawsuit, read below.

DO NOT FALL FOR THESE SCAMS

Here is a Sample of What The Message is

NOTICE OF PENDING CLASS ACTION AND NOTICE OF PROPOSED SETTLEMENT ANGEL FRALEY V. FACEBOOK, INC.

You are receiving this e-mail because you may have been featured in a "Sponsored Story" on Facebook prior to December 3, 2012.

A federal court authorized this Notice. This is not a solicitation from a lawyer.
Why did I get this notice? This Notice relates to a proposed settlement ("Settlement") of a class action lawsuit ("Action") filed against Facebook relating to a particular Facebook feature called "Sponsored Stories." According to available records, you may be a "Class Member."

What is the Action about? The Action claims that Facebook unlawfully used the names, profile pictures, photographs, likenesses, and identities of Facebook users in the United States to advertise or sell products and services through Sponsored Stories without obtaining those users' consent. Facebook denies any wrongdoing and any liability whatsoever. No court or other entity has made any judgment or other determination of any liability."

This is just a scam - ignore it, or better yet, report the email as "spam" or "junk" so that the fake website will get shut down more quickly. Chances are they will try to get you to give them some of your personal information that they can then either sell to spammers, or make an attempt to steal your identity, or to gain access to your facebook account, or worse, your bank accounts. be very careful about believing emails you receive that seem suspicious, as there are many scams out there, and even more gullible people.

Facebook Display Issues

This is A Common Problem That People Have From Time to Time

They Log into Facebook and They Have Problems With the Display of your Facebook

you may See A White Screen with links all the Way to The Left and Smashed together

That is Being Caused By a Display Issue

You Can Fix This Easily

By Clearing your Cookies and Cachee and Deleting Temporary Files And Closing out your
Browser and Reopen it

Make Sure your Browser Version is Up to Date as Older Versions Tend to Make Facebook
All Buggy And Lots of Errors

Internet Explorer 9

Once your browser is open, click the gear at the top right to open the settings menu. Then, select Safety and Delete Browsing History... Or, optionally you may simply press Ctrl+Shift+Delete to open the Delete Browsing History window.

Select Temporary Internet Files. You will also need to uncheck all of the other boxes, especially Preserve Favorites website data. This option makes the window also delete objects from websites in your Favorites folder, which is necessary to completely clear your cache.

Click the Delete button near the bottom of the window to perform the operations (i.e. clear your cache by deleting temporary files).

Your computer will work for a moment, and then the process will be complete. You've successfully cleared Internet Explorer 9's Cache!

Firefox

Click the Firefox menu in the top left corner. Next, select the right arrow next to History >, and click Clear Recent History (or click on Tools then Clear Recent History if you don't have the Firefox Menu) Or, you can press Ctrl+Shift+Delete to open the recent history window.

Make sure 'Details' is expanded, then select Cache from the list. Uncheck everything else.

In the Time Range to Clear: drop down, select Everything.

Select Clear Now.

Your computer will work for a moment, and the process will be complete. You've successfully cleared Firefox's Cache!

Google Chrome

Once your browser is open, select the Wrench icon (the settings menu, located in the upper-right corner) then, Tools, and Clear Browsing Data.... You can also access the Delete Browsing History window by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete, or clicking on this link: [chrome://settings/clearBrowserData].

Select the Empty the cache check-box. Uncheck everything else to avoid deleting data unintentionally.

Deleting inactive Accounts on Friend Project

This Will Take Effect February 2013

We will start deleting inactive accounts which have not been logged into for over 3 months. The majority of the accounts being deleted have been inactive for over 6 months. We feel 3 months is enough time for one to keep their account active. Our focus is to give the active members more server resources for a better overall experience. We think that most would agree that it's unfair for resources to be spent on maintaining inactive accounts at the expense of the active members. Incidentally, all of these accounts are already hibernated.

To save resources accounts are hibernated when they have not been logged into for 45 days. Hibernated accounts are temporarily removed from the website. They are automatically reactivated and restored when the owner of the account logs into the website. When an account is not logged into for 3 months the website will delete the account (starting Feb 2013).

We send email alerts to members when their accounts are hibernated. We also send 2 warning emails to members 4 weeks and 2 weeks before their account is deleted, if they have not yet logged into the site. Accounts are only deleted if they have not logged in at least once in 3 months. Our hope is that every member will keep their accounts active by logging into them at least once in 3 months.

Login to your inactive accounts TODAY if you don't want them deleted.

Why Questions on Yahoo Answers Dont Appear Right Away

You Go to Post a Question On Yahoo Answers Than you Go to the Category to See if its
There Sometimes you Will Go there and you Dont See it Appear Right Away

There is a Reason Why it Doesint Always Show Up Right Away

All Questions That Get Posted Go Through a Filter

Once they Pass Through than they Will Appear In The Category

How Long it takes to Go through all That Depends

If you Have just Text inside No Links or Curse Words than It Should Appear in a Minute
or 2

If you Have Links Inside the Question or Curse Words than it will Take Longer Because

Yahoo has to Make Sure that the Links Are Safe to Appear on the Boards and they have
to Censor out the Curse Word

Curse Words Are Not Appropriate For the Site Because There are Adults and Kids on
This Site

and Some People Use it For Business Related and its Not Very Friendly to See
inappropriate Language on the Site

Dont Worry tho Your Question Still Gets Posted Right Away when you Post it it Just
Doesint appear in the Category until It Clears

Keep in Mind Depending on What Category you post it in It May Not Stay on top For
Very Long Especially if its a Popular Category

When New Posts Are Added yours Goes Down as the Others Go on Top

Lots of People Want to Know how to Get a lot of Twitter Followers Rather its For
Personal use or Business Use im Going to Tell you How to Get a lot of Twitter Followers

Post Good Tweets

To Get lots of Followers you have to Post Good Tweets if People Do Not Like your Tweets
or if they Do Not Interest them they are Less Likely to Follow you A Good Tweet Can Be About a Good Quote or a Funny Joke or a Good Story about something that has happen recently if your Tweets are interesting people will Want to Read them and More Likely To Follow you

Follow Who Ever Follows you

If Someone Follows you Follow them Back the More Followers List you are on the More
likely you are to Be Noticed

#TeamFollowBack

Mention In your Tweets #TeamFollowBack and Get your Self added to the List and Follow
Other People From That Hashtag

Getting a lot of Followers is Not Easy

you May See Programs or Sites That you Can Buy Twitter Followers i would Highly Not
Recommend Doing this As There is Plenty of Ways you Can Get Twitter Followers and your
Followers are Not Real Followers if you have to Buy and Pay For them to Get Followers

Dont Give up and Keep on Trying

Soliciting on Yahoo Answers

Soliciting on Yahoo Answers a lot of people Seem to Do it and Think its Ok Well its
Not its Against the Rules and Im going to Explain More About it and Why its Not Ok

Soliciting is when you Advertise Something Rather its For Profit Or Non Profit

it Doesn't Even Have to Be Business Related to Be Considered Soliciting

Here are Some Examples Of Solicating

Can you Follow Me on Twitter
Add me on Facebook
Can you Watch This Video For me
Can you Follow Me on instagram
Add Me as a Contact on Yahoo Answers
Click This Link For me
Like this For a Contest
Can you Send me Money

All Those are Considered Solicating

Yahoo Answers Does Not Allow It For a Few Reasons

If you Want to Advertise Something you have to Pay For it on Yahoo Answers thats how
Yahoo Makes there Money by Using the Answers to Advertise Something you are Not Giving
them any money

And its Also Annoying to the Regular Users Who Do Not Want to Add you or See the
Question

Yahoo Answers is a Place to Ask Questions NOT a Place to Advertise your Facebook
Twitter youtube Myspace Instagram Tumblr ETC

What Happens if i Choose to Do this ?

your Question Will Get Reported And Removed And Yahoo Answers Will Take Action By
Taking Away Points they May Even Suspend you Depending on How Severe the Violation is

If you Do it Once or Twice They may Just Remove it and Take Away Points if you Do it
Over and Over and Over And Over Again they May Suspend your Account

Yahoo! Answers is a place to gain knowledge, not customers, page views, or dates. If you have years of experience in something, have a special hobby, own your own business, or if you are a knowledge partner, it's OK to accompany a good, on-topic answer with a link to your website, blog, or email to offer more information. However, it is not OK to post links that are unrelated to the topic or are clearly meant only to solicit others for personal and financial gain. Also prohibited are solicitations like "Will you add me as a contact?" or propositioning people
