Homework Help

Want Some Help On Homework Well in this Post i will Give you Some Help on Homework

What is Meterology ?

Meterology is the Study Of the Weather Example of the Weather Would Be Rain Or Sleet or Snow ETC you Get the Point

How Does Weather Form

it Forms By the Sky When There is Warm Air at the bottom there will Be Evaporation going on which than goes into the sky and into the clouds and than when it is full enough it will fall as precipitation

How Do you Do Math Without the Calculator

you Can Count with your Fingers and Do that or you can think in your head and count in your head there will be times where you wont have access to a calculator so adding it with using what you got is very important

What is a Noun

A Noun Is a Person Place or Thing

What is a Verb

it is a Compound it tells the Important Part of the Sentence

How Do you Calculate the Area of a Circle

Pie Times Radius 2 Square

What is a Good Way to Remember information

a Good Study Method when it Comes Towards Getting Ready For a Test or a quiz is to Make Flash Cards and Test your self and see if you can remember it without looking at the flash cards

What is Science

Science is a Subject that is all About Finding Out Things Science is about Coming up With the wrong answer and finding out why this happends and what the Correct Answer is

Writing a math problem algebraically means that you are using numbers and variables to represent relationships.

"Three inches taller than Danielle" can be represented in the algebraic expression .

"Ernesto is three inches taller than Danielle" can be represented in the algebraic equation .

What does an equation have that an expression doesn’t?

An equation has an equal sign ("=").

The variables used in the examples are "e" for Ernesto’s height and "d" for Danielle’s height. Notice that the first letters of the people’s names were used as the variables. In general, when you’re deciding which letter to use for your variable, the first letter of the object being measured is a good choice.

So, a variable is a letter that represents a number that is unknown, or that changes (varies) depending on the situation.

For example, for the above equation, ; depending on how old Danielle is, her height will change.

9.2 Solving One-Step Equations

Equations, where one math operation is acting on the variable, can be solved in one step.
The trick is to get the variable x by itself – isolate the variable.

The following 4 equations involve one math operation.

(2x means 2 multiplied times x)

In the above examples, x is the variable. The math operations are: 1.) add, 2.) subtract, 3.) multiply, and 4.) divide.

Addition Equations

To solve for addition equations, subtract the number being added to x on both sides of the equation.

Example: Solve for x in the equation x + 5 = 13.

x + 5 = 13
x + 5 - 5 = 13 - 5 Subtract five from both sides.
x = 8 Simplify.
8 + 5 = 13 Check the answer.

Subtraction Equations

To solve for subtraction equations, add the number being subtracted from x on both sides of the equation.

Example: Solve for x in the equation x - 3 = 19.

x - 3 = 19
x - 3 + 3 = 19 + 3 Add 3 to both sides.
x = 22 Simplify.
22 - 3 = 19 Check the answer.

1.2 Relations Among Points, Lines, and Planes

Definition 1.1

Collinear points are points that lie on the same line.

Definition 1.2

Noncollinear points are points that do not lie on the same line.

In this "Collinear Points" graph, we say point B is between point A and point C. If the three points are not collinear, we cannot say a point is between two other points. For example, we cannot say point E is between points D and F.

Definition 1.3

Coplanar lines are lines that lie in the same plane.

Note: Points, lines, segments (defined in sec. 1.3), or rays (defined in sec. 1.3) which lie in the same plane are said to be coplanar; if they do not lie in the same plane, they are referred to as non-coplanar.

.

Definition 1.4

Parallel lines are coplanar lines that never intersect.

Definition 1.5

Intersecting lines are two coplanar lines with a point in common.

v Plane Geometry

Lines may lie in different planes or in the same plane.and both lie in plane Y.
and lie in plane X. and are contained in different planes while (the intersection of the two planes) is common to both planes. In order to simplify our discussion, we will always assume that we are working with figures which lie in the same plane unless otherwise specified. This branch of geometry takes a "flat," two dimensional view of figures and is referred to as "plane geometry."
