What is Live Feed ?
Live Feed is the latest and greatest way to communicate and meet new people on MeetMe. View other members' status posts and new photos, and click "Like" to tell them when you're a fan. Even better, join the conversation! Comment on statuses and photos right on your homepage, and post your own to find out what other people think of you!
Live Feed is available on your homepage (requires login) or in the Live Feed section.
What Does it Mean To Like A Status Or a Photo
Clicking "Like" in Live Feed simply lets the status or photo poster that you're a fan! It saves you the trouble of typing out a comment like "I like this!" or "This is cool!" This way, you can like more posts more easily.
When you like a post, we'll let the status or photo poster know via Notifications, so that he or she can thank you. Similarly, when you post a status or photo, keep an eye on your own Notifications page to see when you get a new like or comment.
How Do I Remove My Posts Comments And Likes From Live Feed
To remove a status or photo that you've posted to Live Feed, click the [x] icon that appears when you mouse over the post, either on your homepage, in the Live Feed section, or on your profile. No matter where on the site you click the [x] icon, the deleted post will be removed from Live Feed entirely.
The same holds true for comments you post to Live Feed. View the post on your homepage, in the Live Feed section, or on the profile of whoever initially posted it. Mouse over your comment and click the [x] that appears.
If you clicked "Like" on a post, you can remove that by clicking "Unlike" on the same post.
How Do I Remove a Comment Someone Else Left On My Posts
If you mouse over the comment you'd like to remove, you'll see a [x] icon appear all the way on the right. Click that [x] icon to delete the comment. Note that you can only delete comments on items you posted and comments you posted yourself.
I Saw Something Offensive Or Inappropriate In The Live Feed What Can I Do
Mouse over the post and click the [!] icon that appears. Make sure that the status or photo is really offensive and warrants investigation by MeetMe Member Services and, if so, click the "Submit" button on the confirmation window that pops up.
Please report any feed post that contains an inappropriate image or threatens someone's well-being. If you think someone is in immediate danger, contact law enforcement.
How Do I Choose Who I See In Live Feed
Above the stream of updates within Live Feed, you will see text like "Show: Girls age 18-22 in US." This represents your current filter. To update your filter, simply click "Change" next to this text and choose the group of people you'd like to see in Live Feed.
