Before you get started
Make sure you have your most current/used email address associated to your account. We will email you a link to download your blog entries once the download is ready. If you need to change your email visit your settings page.
How do I retrieve my blog?
To request your blogs, visit your settings page and select Request your blog. Once your blogs are ready, you will receive an email that will notify you that your blogs are ready to go. Visit your settings page where you requested your blogs and click the Download button. It's as easy as that.
How long does it take?
We’re still finalizing the download tool which means within a few short months you will receive an email indicating your blogs are ready. We are doing what we can to get your blogs back to you as soon as possible. If we can get it to you sooner, we will make an announcement here.
It keeps asking me to sign in, what do I do?
If you select Request your blog and you are prompted to enter in your email and password that means your account is not linked to a classic Myspace profile. It’s possible your profile was not migrated over to new Myspace, or there is another account you may have created. We recommend searching for another possible profile. If you locate an account that belongs to you and cannot access it, please check out our login issues guide.
What if I deleted my Myspace account?
Unfortunately, if you deleted your Myspace profile your blogs will be not be retrievable.
What will my blogs look like?
Once you click the download button, your blogs will be downloaded to your computer in one complete file. The file will include all original html (so they will still look pretty) and will open up in your default browser. We will have more information on this once the time has come.
Where are my comments?
Unfortunately, your blog comments will not be available for download. Now is your chance to start fresh with a whole new audience.

We realize how important blogs are for the creative community and have added it to our road map of features we will release in the future

You can access different features from your sidebar such as your timeline, groups, apps and chat.
You can access your Privacy Shortcuts by hovering over the sidebar and clicking at the top of your sidebar.
The top section of the sidebar gives you quick access to some of the features you use most. Click See More to find the main links for a list of pages, groups and apps you use often.
The bottom section of the sidebar shows you the friends you message most as well as your chat setttings.
Your sidebar is sensitive to the amount of free space you have on your screen, so it only expands if there's enough room for it. If your sidebar isn't expanded, try using your browser in fullscreen mode or adjusting your screen size.
How Can I Get to my Groups Pages and Apps Where Are my Favorites ?
Your groups, Pages and apps are located in the sidebar. If you've added any groups, Pages or apps to your favorites, you can find the ones you use most in the top section of your sidebar.
Where Are My Privacy Settings ?
To view and adjust your privacy settings:
Click at the top right of any Facebook page and choose Settings
Click Privacy from the left-hand column
You can also quickly view and adjust some of the most widely used privacy settings and tools from your Privacy Shortcuts by clicking at the top of your sidebar.
