Smart Limits for Wireless This Is For At#T

Smart Limits enables you to provide your children with the freedom and security of a wireless phone while setting sensible boundaries for its use. It's also a great tool for any age, to block unwanted calls or to help manage data usage.

Smart Limit features available on all phones:
Block harassing calls and texts:
Block unwanted calls and texts: Up to 30 numbers.
Prevent 411 Charges: Easily block calls to 411 Info.
Limit texting and data usage:
Set monthly limit for data usage per billing cycle.
Set monthly limits for number of text messages per billing cycle.
Limit purchases:
Choose monthly dollar limit for premium purchases (apps, alert services, games, etc.) direct-billed to your AT&T account. Limit Purchases doesn't restrict content purchases using a credit card from smartphone app stores.
Limit phone use by time of day:
Restrict texting and outbound calling during specified times of day.
Designate Allowed Numbers that can call or be called regardless of time restrictions - up to 15 numbers.
As the user approaches the usage/spending limits that have been set, they will receive an advance warning. Once a limit is reached, they'll receive a notification that the action is restricted until the next billing cycle begins.

Calls and text messages to and from phone numbers you designate as Allowed Numbers and calls to and from 911 will continue to be permitted, regardless of the limits you set.

Smart Limits service limitations:
Not currently available for prepaid phones or corporate liable accounts
Does not work for limiting or restricting data usage on tablets and non-LTE BlackBerry devices, or while user is on Wi-Fi
Accuracy of data limits/restrictions is not guaranteed due to network and other technical limitations
Allowed and Blocked Numbers work for enabling and blocking voice calls and text messages only and do not enable or prevent the use of instant messaging (e.g., iMessages, Blackberry Messenger, etc.), MMS messaging or Video Share
Cannot set a monthly limit for voice minutes. All incoming calls are allowed at all times, including during time restrictions, except from numbers designated as "Blocked Numbers"
